About Andrew Freedman
Andrew Freedman is widely known as the nation's first state "marijuana czar," having served as Colorado's first Director of Marijuana Coordination under Governor Hickenlooper from 2014 to 2017. He developed and implemented the country's first legal recreational cannabis program.
He co-founded Freedman & Koski LLC, which advises state and local governments on cannabis legalization implementation. The firm does not accept licensees as clients to maintain independence.
