About Courtney Moran
Courtney Moran drafted and negotiated the Hemp Farming Act of 2018 — the language in the Farm Bill that federally legalized hemp — working directly with Senators McConnell and Wyden. As Senator Wyden stated: "We would not have hemp legalization without Courtney."
She founded EARTH Law LLC, won landmark cases establishing precedent for shipping hemp-derived CBD through the U.S. Postal Service, and created the nation's first Hemp Law & Policy course at Lewis & Clark Law School.
