About Dasheeda Dawson
Dasheeda Dawson — known globally as "The WeedHead" — is the Founding Director of Cannabis NYC, leading the city's strategy to build what it aims to make the nation's most equitable cannabis industry. Previously she served as Cannabis Program Manager for the City of Portland, Oregon.
A Princeton molecular biology graduate with an MBA from Rutgers, Dawson authored the bestselling How to Succeed in the Cannabis Industry and chairs the Cannabis Regulators of Color Coalition.
