About Dr. Orrin Devinsky
Dr. Orrin Devinsky is Professor of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Director of the NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, the largest epilepsy center in the United States. He is the principal investigator of the pivotal Phase III CBD clinical trials for Dravet and Lennox-Gastaut syndromes, published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
These landmark studies were instrumental in the FDA's 2018 approval of Epidiolex — the first cannabis-derived prescription medication approved in the United States. He has authored over 700 peer-reviewed articles.
