About Gillian Schauer PhD
Dr. Gillian Schauer is the first Executive Director of the Cannabis Regulators Association (CANNRA), a nonpartisan association of government agencies across more than 45 U.S. states and territories plus international members. Under her leadership, CANNRA has grown to over 1,000 regulators.
She founded the Multi-State Collaborative for Cannabis and Public Health at the CDC Foundation (2014-2021) and has testified before the U.S. Congress twice on cannabis and hemp issues. She has authored more than 75 peer-reviewed publications.
