About Luke Scarmazzo
Luke Scarmazzo is a cannabis entrepreneur, author, and criminal justice reform advocate. In 2004, he co-founded one of the nation's first state-legal medical cannabis dispensaries. He was sentenced to nearly 22 years in federal prison despite operating legally under California law, and served almost 15 years before compassionate release in 2023.
Since release, he co-founded Prophet Brands and authored High Price: The Luke Scarmazzo Story.
