About Mennlay Golokeh Aggrey
Mennlay Golokeh Aggrey has been working legally in the cannabis industry since 2005 — one of the earliest women of color in the legal space. She cultivated medical marijuana in Humboldt County, worked with Whoopi Goldberg's cannabis brand, and co-founded Xula Herbs, a Latina- and Black-owned CBD brand based in Mexico City.
Her 2019 book The Art of Weed Butter blends cannabis recipes with racial justice advocacy. She writes for Vogue, Bon Appetit, the Washington Post, and co-hosts the Broccoli Talk podcast.
