About Weldon Angelos

Weldon Angelos is a criminal justice reform advocate and former music producer who was sentenced to a mandatory 55-year federal prison term for selling less than $1,000 worth of cannabis. His case united a bipartisan coalition including Senators Mike Lee and Rand Paul, Charles Koch, and Alicia Keys.

After 13 years he was released in 2016 and received a full presidential pardon in December 2020. He founded Mission Green, dedicated to securing clemency for those still incarcerated for cannabis.
